After graduation they moved to San Francisco where Karl worked for United Airlines in the
Maintenance Operation Center rebuilding jet turbines. After San Francisco he went to work for
Autoliv in Brigham City where he did engineering for the manufacture of air bags. They lived in
Brigham City for 22 years. Karl has worked for Orbit for 16 years, and after commuting for 6 of those years they moved to Bountiful and have lived here for nearly 10 years - and LOVE IT!
Karl enjoys woodworking, the outdoors, and cars. In 2003 he built a Shelby Cobra replica. Colleen
enjoys quilting, and knitting. She has a number of ribbons for the many quilts she has created and
displayed. She has actually learned to spin her own yarn and knitted it into her projects, but now she prefers to buy yarn at the store. She plays the flute and piccolo. Just over a year ago she started
playing the harp.
Their motto for life is that the Savior is very aware of each of us, knows the details of our lives, and
loves us.

They love watching BYU football and basketball games. Ted loves to work in their yard and to fix and build things. Celeste loves to read, quilt, and host wonderful family and friends dinners. However, age has prevented them from those things as health issues have arrived!
Ted’s grandfather Pectol served in the State Legislature. Celeste is a descendant of John Murdock (story in church history and D&C). Ted’s grandfather and President Eyring’s grandfather served as Bishops in the same stake in Washington, southern Utah.
Randy & Claudean (Mower) Cox
Both of us were born in Mt Pleasant, Sanpete, UT. We grew up in Fairview. Since we got married we have lived in Provo while Randy finished his MBA at BYU. After graduation, we moved to West Valley for 5 years, then to Bountiful where we lived in the 4th ward of our stake for 8 years before we moved into our current neighborhood. We have 4 daughters Ashlee, Lindsey, Chelsea, and Whitney, and 1 son Matthew. We have 13 grandchildren and in July we will have our 14th grandchild born to Whitney and her husband Anton.
Randy and I got married right after I graduated from High School and I did not attend college, but Randy got his master’s degree from BYU. Randy has been a financial advisor for 42 years. I have been a stay-at-home mom most of my adult life, but I did work at a drug and alcohol rehab center for 4 years.
Randy loves to golf and enjoys all sports. I love to cook, and to do almost all handwork like crocheting, xstitch, and embroidery along with piecing quilts.
Joe & Janet (Bettilyon) Crane
Janet was born in Salt Lake City. At the beginning of the 8th grade, she moved with her family to Buenos Aries, Argentina, where her father and mother served as mission leaders for three years. Upon returning the family moved to Bountiful and she graduated from Bountiful High. After a semester at BYU, she transferred to Ricks College (now BYU-I) with plans to become a school teacher. During that fall semester she met Joe.
Joe grew up on a farm near Burley, Idaho, milking cows and hauling hay. He was awarded an athletic scholarship to play football at Snow College. He played one season and then served a mission in Denmark. He taught Danish at the Language Training Mission for Scandinavian languages at Ricks College. During that fall semester he met Janet.
They married in August of 1975 and transferred to the University of Utah. The next summer we bought Eurail train passes and "back packed" through Europe for 6 weeks. While there we were blessed to witness in the Bern Switzerland temple the sealing of a family that Joe had taught while in Denmark.
Upon Joe's graduation from college with an MBA our family followed employment opportunities moving to Bismarck, North Dakota, Casper, Wyoming, Sacramento, California, Grand Junction, Colorado, back to Casper and finally to Utah. We have made our home in Bountiful for the past 36 years and have lived in this ward for 22 years.
We have four sons, a daughter and 18 grandchildren. These children and their spouses are our greatest blessing.
When Janet graduated from college in accounting, she took a final exam the day after our fifth child was born. She quickly earned her CPA and eventually retired as CFO of a real estate management firm.
Joe's business career was primarily in marketing and sales working for Fortune 100 and start-up companies. Joe sold his snack food manufacturing and marketing business in 2017 and began teaching marketing and entrepreneurialism at Utah State University.
In 2019, upon Janet's retirement, we were called to serve as missionaries assigned to teach business and accounting classes at Ensign College. We continue to teach at Ensign College as adjunct professors and enjoy the unique opportunity to work with the students there.
Janet enjoys reading, quilting, crochet and being a grandma. Joe enjoys history, "fixin" things and "palling" with the grandkids. He served 6 years as a part time service missionary and tour guide at the Church Museum of History and Art and has led tour groups visiting Church history sites in New York, Ohio, Illinois and Missouri.
We have set foot on seven continents in the past 4 years and look forward to continuing to explore the world together. We proudly fly flags in our front yard honoring our love and hope for this country and in support of three grandsons serving or soon to serve missions in Chile, Florida and Thailand.
Scott & Lori Cummings Family
We are the Cummings (Scott and Lori). Scott was raised in Star Valley, Wyoming and Lori in Hyrum, Utah. We met while Lori was in high school and Scott was attending Utah State. We have been married for 26 years, and have 4 wonderful children (Aubree, Aspen, Trevor, and Arya). Scott has cooler heritage than Lori, so we will share his. He comes from the house of Comyn in Scotland. They ruled for 100 years until Robert the Bruce wiped them out and now we are mere peasants.
We have moved 22 times in our 26 years of marriage, so the list is lengthy of where we have lived. We will stick to the places the army sent us in our 10 year military career: Texas, Georgia (twice), California, Missouri, and North Carolina. We have been in Bountiful for 9 years which is the longest we have lived anywhere.
Scott graduated from Utah State with a master’s degree in Human Resource Management and has a MBA from the U. He is currently teaching kindergarten. Lori graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Physical Education Teaching and works as an adapted physical education teacher. Scott enjoys computer games and Lori is a busy body enjoying anything that keeps her active.

camping, fishing, and boating.
Mike likes to play/watch basketball and watch football. Amy likes to sing, cook, spend
time with friends and family, and her newest hobby of being a grandma is her favorite.
Amy is the youngest of 10 kids and was an aunt when she was only 6 months old. She
loved growing up with so many nieces and nephews. Her father was the mayor of
Woods Cross City for the first 8 years of her life. He won his second term by a tie
breaking coin toss.
Mike went on a mission to Tijuana, Mexico. (Amy was called to serve in Macon, Georgia,
but then she met Mike before she left and well, you see where they are now.) Mike is the
son of Terry and Colleen Eggett, grandson of Bette, and nephew to Connie, BJ,
and Shauna. We would have to say that that is probably our biggest claim to fame.

Terry and Colleen lived in Salt Lake for 12 years which is where they bought their first home. Terry served as the Bishop of the ward for six years. They have six children, all married, and 24 grandchildren, and now one great-grandchild. They are their greatest joy!
