Ward Conference / September 28th
Becoming True Disciples of Jesus Christ
EQ Council Question:
What action or words by a ward member helped you to feel included, whether as a new move-in, an “old-timer”, or in between?

Material to study in preparation for this lesson/discussion:
"By This All Will Know That You Are My Disciples” - Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf, April 2025 General Conference
Questions to consider in preparation for this lesson/discussion:
1. How does loving one another (our spouse, children, other family members, friends, ward and quorum members) demonstrate that we are disciples of Jesus Christ? John 13:34-35
2. Is there a gap between the ideal and the real in terms of ward members nurturing one another with perfect faith, love and acceptance/fit? How can patience help us work through these real or perceived gaps?
3. What does it mean to have a mighty change of heart? (Alma 5:14)
4. What does it mean to change our hearts to align with the Savior?
5. What does it mean to be one in Christ? (Galations 3:28)
Invitation to act: “May God bless us to patiently but diligently seek to live up to the ideals our Savior, Redeemer, and Master has set for us – so all will know that we are His disciples.” Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf – April, 2025 General Conference
